09/08/2021 – Fidele Shinga

We have told you about Fidele Shinga. He is a full-time trainer for Global Baptist Training Foundation in East Africa. We have known and worked with Fidele for 10 years. He has translated for both of us, he has chauffeured us around Rwanda, he has travelled with Bruce to Liberia to teach pastors there. Fidele is a blessing from God to the ministry of training nationals to train nationals. He is a native of the Congo and a citizen of Rwanda. He speaks 5 languages and truly understands the culture of East Africa. Fidele and his wife, Alice, have three beautiful daughters: Success, Deborah, and Successful.

Fidele is a national, trained by GBTF, who is now training hundreds of others in Kenya, Tanzania, Burundi, Congo, and Rwanda. He will go even further in the future holding training classes using the very GBTF produced materials that were used to train him. Fidele is II Timothy 2:2 embodied.

We have 20 more national trainers preparing to follow in the footsteps of Fidele Shinga. We can only imagine what the future holds as God continues to bring people like Fidele to work with GBTF!
