10/12/2021 – Rwanda Classes resume

After a two year break due to Covid, classes have resumed in Rwanda. While about half of the pastors still cannot travel because of travel restrictions, finances, and lack of bus availability (due to labor shortages), nearly 40 pastors have made it to Kigali. They sang and praised the Lord for the ability to be together once again receiving training (see video link below for their celebration singing and dancing)! Dr. Larry Bazer is teaching in the mornings, and Dr. Bruce is teaching in the afternoons. These pastors have almost finished BOTH levels of GBTF curriculum – that’s a total of 14 full courses. In February, 2023, they will graduate from our second level of studies. Some of these pastors will go on to become trainers for GBTF training regionally around Rwanda. Many have been planting churches even during lockdowns. Shinga Fidele is translating for both Larry and Bruce. Next week, Larry and Bruce go on to Uganda for a class while Fidele opens a new class in Tanzania. So many great things happening!
