12/21/2021 GBTF Congo Christmas

Global Baptist Training Foundation got a wonderful Christmas gift this week! Classes have resumed in Bukavu, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)! Fidele Shinga has nearly 100 pastors and pastors’ wives in his first class in his native country.

We have, for years, talked about the intentional multiplication that happens when the nationals we have trained become the trainers of other nationals. You are watching it happen! Glory to God!!!

Bruce leaves for Liberia in two weeks where nearly 200 churches have been started or are currently being planted through the group of pastors trained by GBTF in Liberia – some with outside support but many without it. Pastor Fragley Motor has used his training and the materials we have provided him to train 40 new church planters who are ready to launch new churches in areas where there is currently no gospel witness. That is from just ONE student in GBTF classes in Liberia. Imagine the exponential result of salvations, discipleship, and churches as this multiplication occurs all over the world.

This growing number of classes around East and West Africa is presenting great financial opportunity for those of you who wish to invest in a ministry that is multiplying itself almost more quickly than we can believe. Fidele is requiring at least $1000 per month at his current rate of holding classes in Kenya, Tanzania, and now the Congo. This will only increase as classes spread to Malawi, Burundi, Ethiopia, and beyond.
