01/18/2019 Liberia Graduation Day

It is difficult to express the emotions in the room in Gbarnga, Liberia, today as 64 pastors earned their certificates for yet another course – Homiletics (sermon building)!  There is, of course, great joy over a task accomplished.  Relief that a very grueling week, with long hours of class in extreme heat, has ended. There is also excitement over the future of the gospel in this country. The 76 new church plants from among this group is just a beginning. Even Greg Dixon and I could not have imagined this much progress when we began partnering GBTF and Advance less than two years ago.  There is also a lot of pride and thankfulness for what is being accomplished in and out of the classroom. It is truly a foretaste of Heaven to be among these national pastors who love God and His Word as well as their country.
The team God has assembled in the US and on the ground around the world is miraculous!   All in all, we are just thankful for God’s work and the privilege to be a part of it.
We leave for Togo tomorrow for a class next week!  Look for many more pictures and updates!
